Artist's Description
While traveling to a few locations to try to capture the fall leaves, I stopped by Meeks Park in Blairsville, Georgia. I knew that Butternut Creek traveled through the park and that there might be a shot or two that I could quickly grab before heading on to the real locations in my mind. What I found at this park in the mountains of North Georgia amazed me. Three hours later as I sat on the creek bank, taking in the beauty I realized that I could not make it to my destinations that day for photos since I had spent so much time at Meeks Park. I looked around again and decided I really did not need to go anywhere else. The beauty of fall was all around me.
Blairsville is located along the Georgia/North Carolina state lines in Union County, GA.
